Conversion disorder is a mental condition in which a person has blindness, paralysis, or other neurologic symptoms that cannot be explained by medical evaluation. School refusal refers to absenteeism as a result of behaviours that are often symptoms of an underlying anxiety and/or other psychiatric disorder.
